To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests, please read our booking terms and conditions before making your reservation.

Booking Policy

·       A non-refundable deposit of £100 per person is required to secure your booking.

·       Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit.

·       Full payment must be completed prior to arrival unless otherwise agreed by the hotel.

·       All bookings are subject to availability.

Package Inclusions

Your Murder Mystery Weekend Package includes:

·       Two Nights' Accommodation

·       Murder Mystery Dinner on Friday Evening

·       Murder Mystery Dinner on Saturday Evening

·       Breakfast on Saturday & Sunday

·       Live Interactive Murder Mystery Entertainment

Additional food, beverages, room service, and extras are not included unless stated otherwise.

Room Upgrades

Guests may upgrade their accommodation (subject to availability):

·       Executive Room – £20 per room, per night

·       Suite – £50 per room, per night

Upgrades must be requested at the time of booking or prior to arrival.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

·       All deposits are non-refundable.

·       Bookings are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for another event or date unless approved by the hotel.

·       If you are unable to attend, no refund will be issued.

·       If the event is cancelled by the Event Organiser due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

·       If the event is rescheduled, your booking will automatically be transferred to the new date. If you are unable to attend the revised date, a full refund of the ticket purchase price will be provided.

Event Information

·       Event schedules are provided as a guide and may be amended without prior notice.

·       Professional actors and event hosts reserve the right to modify storylines, timings, or activities where necessary to enhance the guest experience.

·       Guests are encouraged to arrive on time to enjoy the full experience.

Dress Code

Many of our Murder Mystery events feature themed storylines. Fancy dress or themed attire is encouraged where applicable but is not compulsory unless specifically stated for the event.

Dietary Requirements

Please inform our Reservations Team of any dietary requirements or food allergies at the time of booking. While every effort will be made to accommodate requests, they cannot be guaranteed if advised shortly before the event.

Accommodation

·       Check-in: From 3:00 PM

·       Check-out: By 11:00 AM

·       Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Guest Conduct

To ensure the enjoyment of all attendees:

·       Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, performers, and fellow guests.

·       The hotel reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, abusive, or unsafe without refund.

Liability

Gainsborough House Hotel accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during your stay or while attending the event.

Photography & Marketing

Photography and video may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. By attending, guests consent to the use of images or footage in the hotel's marketing materials, website, and social media channels. If you prefer not to appear in promotional content, please inform a member of the team on arrival.

Force Majeure

Gainsborough House Hotel shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or alterations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, government restrictions, public health emergencies, or other unforeseen events.
